From the beaches of Erdeven, after having touched the coasts of Kerhillio,
Kerouriec and Kerminihy, the sea passes over the "Barre d'Etel"
and into a magnificent river which is known as the Etel River.
In Breton language "Ar Deuwen" means dune-land. It is indeed behind 300 hectares of protected dunes, that this charming village of 2600 inhabitants, continues a balanced economic development, between it's traditional rural activities, and leisure.
Its traditional activities for accomodation, whether they are hotels, camps sites or furnished flats are always of very good quality.
